How to Become a Monitor

FAIC’s Connecting to Collections Care program is seeking volunteer monitors for the Connecting to Collections Care Community

Serving in two-week shifts, monitors are responsible for reviewing collections care questions posed to the community by small and mid-sized museum staff and providing simple and direct answers. Volunteer content experts are available to you for consultation to help with answering questions as needed. Monitors typically spend between 1 and 4 hours in monitoring activities in the community over a two-week period and should be conservation professionals or enrolled in a graduate conservation program.
